Summary
Choso’s life has been defined by falls. Not necessarily the act itself, but the aftermath.
It started when his mother pushed his father down the stairs only for her wounds to last longer than his pain. Over a decade has passed since then. Now, a woman stands within his reach, burning hard and fast, almost reminiscent of the stars she loves to talk about.
He can’t help but wonder if this is worth the fall. After all, if there’s one thing he’s learned from all the nature documentaries he’s watched with Kechizu it’s that the prettiest creatures are often the most dangerous and Tsukumo Yuki is not the exception.

Yuki’s usually pretty direct and impulsive, but throw in some expensive booze and wanderlust, and the special grade sorcerer is heading up north with a man who's never known the joy of windswept hair or the ache from riding on the back of her heavy Raptor which Todo refers to as her ‘middle-age crisis on two wheels’. It's all for the thrill of travel, the swirling winds, the changing landscapes, the distraction of his hands on her waist to keep the haunting memories at bay.

SUCH A GOOD STORY!!!! Love my babies caitvi, but the story goes beyond them. It’s SO well written and SO well developed. Love the format, the going back and forth on time and the multiple perspectives, sometimes through the lens of the media (sport podcasts, tv news, blogs…), that shit gets u immersed in their reality. Even though Vi and Caitlyn are the main characters, everyone gets a chance to shine, you get to know their motivations, their struggles, their private matters. ABSOLUTELY LOVED ALL THE DYNAMICS ON AND OFF ICE. Loved how family was treated, how situations of injustice and abuse and overcoming both were treated, dealing with corruption inside institutions. As I said: a damn well written and well developed good story! LOVED POW/JINX. LOVED MY WEIRD GOALTENDIES (graves and ekko, mama loves u), LOVED THE MVP IN MY HEART MY BOY CLAGGOR, MYLO U KNOW YOURE HOT SHIT, MY GIRLS RIVEN, ASHE AND POPPY, like the whole team is PURE GOLD IN ALL SENSES really (but these ones had my absolute heart). MAN LOVED CASSANDRA AND TOBIAS TOO (he made me laugh SO FUCKING MUCH). Don’t even get me started with my wifies!!!! GO SUMPRATS! GO ZAUN, THE FEARLESS INDESTRUCTIBLE CITY!
