“Come on, ‘Sea. I can help!” Arthur stood in front of him now, arms crossed and brows furrowed in consternation. The look was so similar to one Dutch frequently wore that it was uncanny. “I’m nearly sixteen now, and I’ve been robbin’ long before I was runnin’ with you two. A coach job is nothing.”
“It ain’t nothing, Arthur,” Hosea sighed, tired of having this argument. “You thinking that is exactly the reason I think you should stay back.”
Arthur tried and failed to hide the eyeroll he had in response to that. “You’re worried over nothing. Dutch thinks it's fine!”

His expression was so genuine and open that she knew he couldn’t be lying. Beside her Bessie shifted slightly, moving to place her hand on her back once again, rubbing in those same soothing circles.
“Swear it.” She felt like a child saying it, but wasn’t that all she really was? A child?
“I swear. Swear on my mama’s life, god rest her soul.” He even went as far as to raise his right hand like he was testifying in court.

Summary
This series is a modern take on Red Dead Redemption, following the life of adopted daughter of Arthur Morgan, Cassidy. The main story follows roughly what the modern equivalent of the gangs shenanigan's and how they personally affected Cassidy, and the short little stories surrounding are just fun things that I think add to her character. Summary
When they accidentally cause trouble for the wrong mob boss, Jack and Janet Drake come up with a completely flawless plan: return to Gotham to retrieve their son, fake the deaths of their entire family, then flee to Belgium. Tim can see a number of issues with this, mainly that (1) it's the stupidest thing he's ever heard, (2) his parents are definitely lying to him about something, and (3) Belgium. With all to play for, it's now up to Tim to create a believable narrative and avoid getting caught by any means necessary - even if that means traumatising the odd vigilante or two. He's willing to do whatever it takes to protect his family.
(But... which family?)
