Toodles could barely breathe as the Twisted holding her tucked her closer to his chest. One set of hands stayed wrapped around her midsection, his other pair of arms creating a cradle beneath her legs and rear for her to sit comfortably on. It was a surprisingly gentle gesture, considering that she felt like her heart was about to explode.
Twisted Scraps let out a long, chilling hiss, her horrible caricature of a smile curling into something more malevolent. Her tail snapped greedily, the sound instinctively making Toodles flinch.
And Twisted Astro only held Toodles protectively.--
The five Main Toons were the only Toons truly lost to the ichor operation, corrupted and mangled into twisted monsters. Many Toons thought they were a lost cause; there was no clear way to save them, if such a thing was even possible. Fighting for their own lives, many Toons have simply given up hope on them.
But, some Toons hadn't given up. Some Toons still thought saving the Twisted Mains was possible. Toodles was one of those Toons.And Toodles was the Toon who found the way to do it.

Summary
the murder time trio's meet cute went well, going by typical standards for them. consisting of one death, then another, and another... along with some heated arguing and soured first impressions, it certainly left them quite enthusiastic to spending more time around their triple-doppelgangers.
but a promise had been made, and they returned from their exploration of a new world back to a truly horrible place. horrortale, a universe defined by death and starvation, would take a lot of rehabilitating for dust to fulfill his promise of saving horror's underground to the other sans.
oh, and killer's there too i guess (he actually has a much larger role but you'll have to read to find out, oooh~)

dust gets bored after he beats the human and builds a device that to travel universes. unfortunately, he ends up in two of the worst possible worlds to end up in out of sheer coincidence. horror is a pissy asshole who always seems to have his panties in a knot, and killer is... something indescribable. but hey, they're together now, and he really just has to suck it up at this point (because the multiverse hates him).
or: i wanted a fic featuring JUST the murder time trio in it... so i wrote it...i wanted to depict how i think they'd meet... so i wrote it......
