A week into your time with the Dateviators you developed rules of the game:
1. Do your best.
2. Fuck Valdivian.
3. Don't fall for Dorian.You weren't sure how well these rules would serve you, but they definitely test you when your interactions with some of the others begin to go downhill, a break in leaves the entire house on edge, and Dorian finds the feelings you might be developing for each other to blame. You both have to decide what your relationship means to each other, and whether anything other than friendship is worth pursuing in a home with too many personalities to make life safely predictable.

The smart thing to do would be for Anakin to cut his losses, save himself the embarrassment, and break up with Obi-Wan now, before they even had a chance to get started. Beat the Christmas rush, as it were.
But then, Anakin had never been particularly smart when it came to matters of the heart. His broken marriage was evidence enough of that. “I still owe you that dinner,” he said.
Anakin Skywalker, twenty-five-year-old PhD candidate and recent divorcé, is putting himself through school by TAing a course for new master’s degree applicants. His neediest student is Obi-Wan Kenobi - sixteen years his senior, also recently divorced, and a little miffed at having to ask someone barely older than his nephew for help uploading a PDF.
At least, that’s how it starts.
