Trinity, perched on her stool, scanned the room with restless energy. Her gaze landed on the far corner, where a mechanical bull rocked lazily under neon lights, surrounded by a low wooden barrier and a bored operator in a cowboy hat.
Her eyes lit up, zeroing in on Dennis across the table. He was mid-sip of his lager, oblivious, his shirt rolled up to his elbows, exposing forearms tanned from weekend hikes.
“Oh my God,” Trinity drawled, a mischievous smirk curling her lips. She leaned forward, pointing a finger at him. “Huckleberry over here needs to get his country ass on that bull.”

They go to a dive bar after their shift ends and convince Dennis to get on the mechanical bull. Robby can’t stop thinking these nasty things about him.
