Izuku’s past is filled with ghosts.
He knows all about what happens in the dark, shadowy dregs of society. As Ghost, a police consultant, it has helped him to solve cases. As Midoriya Izuku, his past is a burden to him, something to ignore. Then he gets into UA and everything in his life seems to decide to not go along with that strategy anymore.
They say ghosts will come back to haunt the living if you don’t deal with them. Turns out that also applies to the people and things from Izuku’s past.
Or: Izuku has a quirk like All For One. Said villain is back at it again with traumatizing children for life. Shouta just desperately wants this kid to trust him.

It wasn't going to last, which was a shame, because it was awfully cute. It was a black cat with red eyes and a tiny capture scarf curled around its little neck. There was literally no one else it could be other than Aizawa-sensei, and there was no possibility that he'd be willing to even attempt to keep a bond with Izuku.

Cheeks noticeably flushed, Dekiru sits down on the stage and fits a watermelon between thick, toned thighs.
His hips twist, those thighs flex, and the watermelon cracks, spilling a fresh wave of juice and sweet pink flesh all over Dekiru’s lap.
“Oh god,” Shōta can’t help but say, riveted despite himself, “I wish that was me right now.”
On stage Dekiru’s eyes go wide as his head snaps up and his attention somehow abruptly zero’s in on Shōta.
It’s at that moment that Shōta becomes aware of the deafening silence that’s fallen over the beach.

“You planned this, you traitor,” Tsukauchi rounds on Sansa for a split second before he turns back towards Shōta, face carved from resolute stone. “And as for you meeting Midoriya? Absolutely not. I forbid it. He’s a menace with a RAP sheet longer than you are tall and you’re also a menace who enjoys chaos more than you’ll ever admit outright. The two of you meeting has Bad Idea™ written all over it in lights. Mainly for me.”
Shōta just stares at him, deeply unimpressed.
