Summary
Some things would've been easier had Matthew waited to take Hoseok out at night, like a normal guy who didn't trip his way into asking someone out, how any intentions would have been clear in their bodies moving against each other.
But Matthew already knows how well Hoseok's body moves and how much he likes it. Instead, Matthew's learning things he didn't know: how Hoseok cuts up each item on his plate into small pieces and then stacks them in different combinations. It's chaotic and fussy all at the same time. In a club, he wouldn't be able to hear the small sound effects Hoseok makes as he tries to remember an English word or how coming up with how to say it in within Matthew's Korean vocabulary.
Matthew thinks, even without dancing, the interest is clear.

Hoseok couldn't imagine having sex with another member. He didn't quite understand how they could compartmentalize it. Hoseok had adapted to compartmentalize sex from intimacy. He was so intimately close with his members that sex felt incompatible. Sex is fun, energetic and enjoyable, but it isn't dangerous like intimacy is.
But listening to Taehyung wax about power exchange and vulnerability made Hoseok curious enough to not shy away and instead blurt out something that sounded like interest. Liam spread out on the bed in a big stretch, soaking up the sunlight happily now. It was seconds before Louis jumped on top of him to take advantage of all the prime tickle spots exposed, but Liam didn't mind at all. He let Louis prod at his sides as he wheezed with laughter, giving them both a reason for the wild smiles on their faces that didn't have much to do with their wrestling. Liam eventually got ahold of Louis' wrists, out of habit if nothing else when Louis went for a nipple, but Louis was undeterred and went in for a bite on his neck instead. It took Liam pushing off the bed to throw Louis but he didn't go far, pressed against Liam's side with their hands still twisted together. "What's all this? I thought I was the one in charge around here now," Liam joked.
"Dear Liam, some things will never change," Louis replied with a snap of his teeth.
