    What if Cha Eui-jae didn't come out of the West Sea Rift without his memories fragmented?

    Eight years spent wandering in a desolate, ruined world alone leave unerasable traces, and Cha Eui-jae is left to bear them alone.
    Alone in a world where only he is alive, he is left to drown in his guilt and the marks of his failures.

    Then, as he opens his eyes again, he finds himself back outside the Rift. Still carrying the weight of his failures in the Rift, the crushing responsibility of his title of 'Hero', he needs to settle his guilt and adapt to the present. But since escaping, Cha Eui-jae could barely find the strength to remain tethered to reality. Thankfully, he is not alone, and ever dedicated, Lee Sa-young always will be by his Hyung's side.

    What if instead of Cha Eui-jae being dropped in a dumpster after defeating the final boss in the West Sea rift, the West sea rift opens up again instead and that’s how he escapes.
    Basically a more mentally drained, and feral Cha Eui-jae, where he behaves more like the monster in the rift, and has to readjust to hunter society with the help of the top hunters in Korea. :D

    “There’s a bear in the forest. If you go out there alone, you’ll die.”

    Yoo Joonghyuk’s steps stopped.
