Summary
What happens when an unstoppable force meets an unmoveable object?
Miranda Priestly was at the top of her game professionally, Runway still the best-selling fashion magazine in the US and her daughters in their final year at university. Her life was completely balanced and controlled, just exactly as she’d planned it to be.
When Cassidy brings someone over for dinner however, Miranda’s carefully constructed world quakes under the intensity of this young woman’s doe-eyed gaze.
It was inappropriate, inconvenient, and entirely off limits for so many reasons and yet undeniably inevitable.

Summary

The staff is shocked that she'd actually go on TV for a rare interview, but the biggest shock comes when Andy watches the interview happen from behind the scenes. And let's just say, she doesn't handle it well. (AU in the sense that Andy stays after Paris.)

Summary
Journalist Andy Sachs takes Vanity Fair's lie detector test and inadvertently confesses her attraction to Runway's Miranda Priestly after a brief encounter. After seeing the interview online, Miranda reaches out to a woman that she barely remembers meeting and lets herself take a chance on a stranger.
