He was supposed to head back to Snezhnaya by ship today—he was supposed to stop thinking about the man who betrayed his trust.
Childe had never made it to the ship, as when he was about to board he was caught off guard by some thin, sharp needle piercing into his neck out of nowhere. It was blackness from there.

“And I don’t think you know Childe as well as you think you do.” Lumine retorts, hands on her hips, looking thoroughly unimpressed.
“Yeah!” exclaims Paimon next to her, mirroring her posture.
The sight of them sending matching glares in his direction is something he would normally find amusing but instead, he feels himself jerk back, shocked at both the accusation and the distinctly flat tone of Lumine’s voice.
“I do,” he says, feeling slightly irked. “I do know Childe.”-

Summary
"You're not listening," Zhongli hisses. "You're not listening and it's making me incredibly irritated. You haven't changed a bit."
"How's that?" Ajax asks in that infuriating way like he has no idea what Zhongli's talking about, cocking his head, arching his back a little more—
"Sit still." Another sharp tug to Ajax's hair, pulling his head back, and Zhongli can see Ajax's eyes sparkle in the dimmed lights of the office off-hours.
"Why? You're the one being so mean to me. Shoving me around…"
That incessant taunting — it earns a sharp backhand across the face. The sound echoes through the massive room. Ajax's head wrenches to the side, eyes flying open in surprise, and he finally balks.
An important meeting is coming up.
A last minute change radically alters Zhongli's plans.

Capitano’s lips twitched, and he allowed half a smile to push through. He noticed the subtle shift of Tartaglia’s gaze too, how red bloomed underneath his eyes at the small hint of Capitano’s true feeling. Adorable, and very endearing. It was ridiculous how quickly Tartaglia managed to dig through all of his walls. How vulnerable did he make himself to allow it before stopping it completely? Had he wanted companionship, closeness, that badly he was willing to indulge the whims of a very pretty, young face?
“You’re going to keep me warm.”
Capitano stepped back, away from the dirty alley wall, and continued out of the shadows, carrying Tartaglia towards the parking lot.
“Captain…” Tartaglia sounded intrigued by the prospect, not putting two and two together until the sight of multiple motorcycles lined up came into view. “You can’t mean —”
