No. This can’t be. She was supposed to be alone until Steve arrived, completely free of any unwanted conversations. Luckily, or maybe not really, no girls sat next to Robin, because of the rumors. Everybody knew them. There wasn’t any way she could escape them, really.
So the fact that "the" Nancy Wheeler sat right next to a rumored queer, was borderline shocking to everybody.

Summary
They started off with seeing each other once a week. Fridays were settled.
But then, they added Sunday to that.
And now, if one of them is feeling especially pent up, they see each other at Wednesdays, too.
And surprisingly, it’s been working out fine. Great, even. She’s glad that Nancy is the person she’s doing this with. At least she gets to have Nancy like this.

Nancy nods. She can do that. It’s a bit of an awkward theme, but she’s sure that it’s not a hard task. She gathers her things and walks out of the door with a simple goodbye.
Not that simple though, because a few seconds later, the girl from the lecture runs to her and gets her attention.
“Hi. I’m sorry. My name is Robin. You probably heard that. I just wanted to ask you where do you want to meet for the project?”
Basically they get assigned a pair project and then they bang idk what to tell you.
