“This should be the place.” Bumblebee uttered."A cave?” Windblade questioned.
“Seems so,” Bumblebee replied uncharacteristically dry. The yellow mech’s eyes fell from the cave entrance to the vibrant blue light pulsating from the cog in his servo. His brow ridges knitted together tightly as a ghostly hum emitted from it.
Bumblebee still did not even have an inkling as to why he decided to follow and indulge the seemingly spontaneous request of the ghost the two of them had met in the village. Okay, he did know why. Despite that, it all felt both insignificant and inconsequential to Bumblebee and Windblade’s greater quest of stopping the Decepticon forces.
And yet, when Bumblebee thought back to the specter’s pleading eyes, he could not help but feel as if, maybe, just maybe, this little excursion of theirs may hold greater significance than either of them could fathom.

Bee said, playing exhaustion with a hand gesture. The two of them laughed, but before it could settle back into an idle quiet with only the sound of the kids to be heard, Dot, who was standing by within an earshot of the conversation, spoke up.
„-Hold on guys, i think i missed something. Bee is your-?” she leaned her head in a questioning matter, gesturing at the two of them, expectantly looking at Optimus.
„-If im understanding correctly you’re implying we share something similar to your Earthly concept of a family, am i not? Well the answer is no. And yes.”
Optimus exclaimed with the confidence of someone who was making sense to his converstation partners. However after multiple dumbfounded silent seconds, he finally elaborated.

Summary
Alpha Trion, one of Optimus’s siblings goes missing, right before his coronation as the prime.
Optimus sneaks out of the palace and goes on a journey to find his brother (and to maybe delay his crowning. Hopefully.)
Disguised as an archivist named Orion Pax seeking his mentor, Optimus meets many new friends on his journey, like Megatron, whose face suspiciously looks exactly like the mob boss of the notorious Decepticons on Cybertron’s most used WANTED poster, or Jazz, who may or may not be a top-notch assassin, or Ultra Magnus, who looks and talks and acts like a knight…
Can he keep his true identity a secret, even as he’s trying to find a missing mech, obtaining true love, and when his dear siblings are trying to catch him?
Maybe. Just maybe… if he could get rid of this depressing depression first. That would just be nice. Thanks, Primus.

“That starts now,” Prowl said. “You have no reports to drop off or reason to be here. Please leave my office.”

The war is over, and everyone is moving on. Poor Optimus however, has been suffering from a severe case of being an empty nester now that he doesn't have anyone to look after. Luckily for him, one slightly overenthusiastic and drunken order to the Sparkling Protection Agency has solved that problem.
Now he has five tiny winged terrors to handle.
