The ship sways gently in the calm waters, anchored in the shallow sea of the dock. It’s a charming rhythm, one Shu has grown accustomed to after almost 40 years of navigating. His arms rest against the wooden railing of the ship, and he lets the sea breeze play with his raven hair, now not as black and shiny as it used to be. Streaks of gray go from his forehead to the tips, a moonlight colored mix.
“Such a beautiful sight tonight.” A deep voice says behind him, and it immediately brings a smile to Shu’s face.
