You were only 5 when your dad presented to you his new invention. An AI. But, a very advanced one. It felt like a real person. He was cheerful, sweet, and he loved painting. Hence the name your dad gave him 'p.AI.nter'. Agh, the dad joke.
You loved p.AI.nter though. You liked drawing too (just as any other kid did) so he quickly became your best friend.
That was until he was taken away. Both your dad and p.AI.nter. You lost both of your best friends.
You were put into an orphanage, where nobody would have believed your story. So, you never shared it.
The older you got, the more you wanted to see them again. It wasn't fair... it wasn't fair.
Was your sentence worth it though?
