“Do– Do you miss it?” Shane asked him carefully, tilting his head up so he could look Ilya in the eye. “Russia.”
He wanted to brush the question off. To assure his husband that he didn’t miss the country in the slightest – because knowing Shane, if Ilya confessed that he did, he’d spiral into a guilt trip faster than Ilya could blink. Shane would probably believe him too.
But he didn’t want to lie to his husband, or hide his feelings from him. They’d done that for so long, and Ilya was tired of it.
“Mm, I don’t miss Russia,” he said slowly, searching his brain for the exact words he wanted to say. It was hard enough communicating his feelings as it was, but the fact that he had to do so in English made it even harder. Finding the words he wanted to say always seemed so exhausting. “But… I miss how it was when I was little. With my mother.”

Summary
Pretty much the second Shane closed the car door, Ilya pounced on him, pulling him into a deep kiss like a man possessed. Shane made a little noise of surprise in the back of his throat before leaning into the kiss, allowing Ilya to explore his mouth with his tongue.
“Not that I’m complaining,” Shane said, panting a little as he pulled away for air. “but what prompted this?”
Ilya just hummed in the back of his throat, starting the car up. Music from his chill playlist permeated the car at a low volume. He started the drive back to their home, one thing on his mind.
“Have I ever told you that you sound very hot when you speak French?” Ilya asked casually. He was going a little over the speed limit. Shane, for once, didn’t scold Ilya, instead too busy sputtering at Ilya’s words.
“Seriously? That’s what has you hot and bothered?” Shane asked disbelievingly.

Summary
Shane hums and turns his head back away from him as he slowly tucks his thumbs under the elastic of his briefs and pushes them down until they fall around his ankles. He tries not to, but he does ultimately fold them and add them to the rest of his discarded clothes after he steps out of them.
He barely has time to turn around before large hands grip his waist and pull him onto the bed. He's under Ilya again within a second. Ilya's face, this time, is red—despite Russians never blushing—and the look in his eyes is nothing short of possessive. "That is real?" He asks. His voice rumbles in his chest, and Shane can feel it from here.
"Yes. I got it for you," Shane answers, pleased with the reaction he's gotten out of his boyfriend. "Do you like it?"
