Summary
He made his way to the doors, eager to cuddle up to his favorite person in the world. He attempted to open them slowly and quietly, afraid to wake TK.
His caution wasn’t necessary. TK was awake and… Carlos’ breath caught in his lungs.
The doors clicked against the wall as they slid all the way open, Carlos entirely forgetting about being quiet. When his lungs began to work again, he gasped out loud. He may have cursed. It didn’t seem to bother TK, as he still hadn’t noticed Carlos was there.
He was completely naked, reclined in the middle of the bed, on top of the twisted duvet (and a towel), knees bent and feet planted. His head was thrown back so far that Carlos, from his vantage point, could see nothing of his upper body except the heaving of his chest as he arched his back.
The main attraction, though, was Carlos’ very clear view of TK’s middle and ring fingers buried in his own hole up to the last knuckle, the other two fingers providing the perfect frame.

Summary
It’s the sixth week after TK comes home–to their home–when he finally cracks.
He’s been doing much better lately. His breathing treatments are further apart and the doctors say it won’t be long before he can stop them entirely. He doesn’t get winded going for a walk to the little corner store with the amazing deli twice a week. He’s even able to do a passable weight lifting routine in the living room (nothing like his usual routine from when he was an active firefighter, but still it’s an accomplishment).
His doctor has even cleared him for light duty, his first shift of which is Monday.
But tonight is Friday, and TK is humming with an energy that has been making its presence known more explicitly with each passing day.
