It's been eight years since then. Eight, whole years.
[Akihiko] only ever allowed himself to take a few days off from work, and today was one of those days. For the past eight years, he had been visiting Kotone. This year was no different than the one before, and the next, and the next.

As he approached her resting place, though, he noticed a lithe figure sitting on top of it. This silhouette was of that of a woman, maybe in her mid twenties. Her curly, amber locks went down to her forearms and bangs covered her bright, crimson eyes. She looked malnourished and pale, and was clad in a beige, now muddy, cotton slip. As he got closer, this woman looked like a girl he'd once known.
Eight years after the Gekkoukan incident, Kotone's comes back. S.E.E.S, now called the "Shadow operatives", reopen for business as they face a new enemy.

"So… are you excited?" Kotone asked with a wide smile on her face. The two walked down Iwatodai's Main Street before turning left. A cold gust of winter air pricked their faces as they shivered.
"I guess. I mean I'm glad you're coming with us." Akihiko responded. "I'm also a little surprised as to why the volleyball team was picked to go with to a boxing tournament with us, but I'm not complaining."
Akihiko and his athletic team are attending a tournament, and with them comes the Girl's Volleyball team. Everything goes well, until a slip-up in round-scheduling happens.
