“Isn’t it?” Phainon whispers, but his brow gentles, posture relaxing into the chilly night's air. “And what is it you desire, Anaxa?”
A touch, as the baby dromas snuggles close, and for one fleeting moment, an image crosses his thoughts. Watching the sunset, satisfied from a day fulfilled by the gentle touch of companionship and a homecooked meal. They'd have a home, together.
“Peace,” Anaxa says eventually. “I, too, desire peace.”
Anaxagoras has fifteen days left to alter the course of Amphoreus' history for good, and he's resigned every hour to it wreathed in the slow and agonizing deterioration of a body that is already dead. The plan was to spend the brunt of it alone, in the solitary halls of his quarters.
The plan did not include Phainon, who shows up at his door in the middle of the night, asking for a place to stay.

Summary
Nagi’s hands tremble slightly as he sets them on Reo’s waist and noses into his neck. “I’m really sorry,” he says again.
“Oh… okay,” Reo says, voice breaking. His breath shakes as he brings his hand to the back of Nagi’s head, the other tentatively cradling the nape of his neck and he repeats, “Okay. I thought so, when you came back.”
Nagi grumbles. That’s not good enough. He holds onto Reo tighter, his thumbs pressing into the divots of his hips through his black shorts.
Reo makes an odd sound.

Summary
Reo doesn't know how he'll go on without Nagi by his side. How is he supposed to carry out their dream alone? There was never any option but to win the World Cup with Nagi, and now that possibility has been ripped away from him once again.
Thankfully, Chigiri is always there to try and cheer him up, talking enough sense into Reo for him to realize that it's not really over now that they're apart again.

Summary
“Hm… Something not boring and likable… It’s just games, I guess. But,” Nagi holds his four fingers in the air. “Is it alright if I name someone, instead? There’s a fourth thing I like but he’s not exactly a thing so I’m not sure how to categorize him.”
The interviewer’s eyes shine immediately. She holds her cards with regained vigor and glances at the cameras surrounding the studio. Is Nagi Seishiro seeing someone? That would be a huge hit. Even though he said something weird…
“Of course, please tell us about that person. But did I hear you right? Did you say ‘he’?”
“Mmh.” Nagi nods absentmindedly, unaware of the scandal he’s about to cause. “I like Mikage Reo. He’s also fun to be around and never bores me, that’s why we are partners and will stay together until we die. Until I die, actually, since I plan to die first.”
The interviewer gasps and Nagi finds it impossible to understand why she is making such a fuss when Reo and him are practically inseparable. Then, he hears the words.
“Mister Nagi…” suddenly, her tone is more respectful. “You shouldn’t say such things on live about an engaged man…”

Reo can’t help it. He laughs. It’s brittle, and all of a sudden, he hears the coldness Nagi’s been going on about. “What, did you want me to?”
Nagi tenses at whatever he sees on Reo's face. “I—” he starts quietly, then stops.
Reo says nothing at all.
In which Reo tries keeping his distance, and Nagi starts acting stranger than usual.
