Summary
Here are 72 tracks from the past 50 years that, to me, capture Charles and Erik’s personalities and points of view. This isn’t so much a progression or an evolution of one character’s musical taste so much as a static character represented by the music of any given decade. Poor Erik’s particular brand of existential angst wasn’t completely understood until the mid-90s when angry, moody alt-rock took over the universe, so his mix includes a lot of vicious lyrical cynicism, experimental guitar, and synth-heavy overly-dramatic power anthems. Charles, though. Charles hasn’t been properly understood by music since John Lennon was killed, but he still digs an upbeat love song or a groovy pop jam about togetherness and partying with your friends. And when they listen to songs that remind them of each other? In a word: perfection.
Please enjoy!

Summary
Jeff had encountered some bizarre things at Greendale. He had gotten drunk with Abed, performed epic theater with Pierce, and debated football and women with Troy. He’d even shopped for baby sweater vests with Shirley. He’d done a lot of things with the group in his time at Greendale, but he had yet to be truly out of his depth.
Until today.

Summary
“It was in 2013. The first time, we were in that stupid apartment of yours in Montreal. So many pillows, you hired someone to decorate. I knew it was your first time, like that, with anybody. I wanted to make it good for you so badly. I’d thought a lot about it. I’d planned for it, like I never would have for anybody else I’ve been with. I didn’t expect— I didn’t realize how right it would be. I wanted to stay, I wanted to stay in that bed forever just to hold you.”
“Holy shit,” Shane says.
Ilya sighs, glares at him. “You have got to stop saying that in response to my romantic declarations. Is bad for my nerves.”

“Lily,” Hayden says automatically. “You know about Lily?”
Something flickers across Rozanov’s face. His jaw twitches. “Yes, I know about Lily.” He raises his eyebrows.
Hayden feels like a complete asshole, all of a sudden. There’s just been too much going on to even think about Shane’s mystery girlfriend. “Shit, I should probably, like, call her, or something? I don’t know this girl at all, but Shane’s been obsessed with her for years. If she was watching the game, she would have seen him get hurt.”
“You don’t need to call her,” Rozanov says, and when Hayden glances at him, he still looks fucking miserable but now he’s rolling his eyes, a much more familiar expression of disdain on his face. “She’s sitting right here.”

Summary
Ilya hums, playing the card he's been considering for this entire conversation. “We could make more interesting, yes? A bet.”
“A bet,” Shane repeats, eyes flashing. “Like what?”
The reporter cuts in. “What about wearing the other player’s jersey?”
They both turn to her, and Shane says, “Like, the loser wears the winner’s jersey?”
“Maybe at the next game in a couple of months?”
“Is a good idea,” Ilya muses, nudging Shane’s elbow. “You will look better in my jersey than in Montreal jersey.”
Shane makes a low noise, his eyes holding a bit of a spark when he looks back to Ilya. It’s what Ilya was hoping for—the tiniest crack in the mask. He can see a hint of exasperated affection around the corners of Shane’s eyes, a little bit of fire burning just beneath the surface. It sends a thrill down Ilya’s spine, and he wonders if Shane will be snarky when Ilya gets him naked tonight.
“That’s not happening,” Shane replies, shaking his head. “Because you’re not winning.”

Summary
“…This is what he likes, isn’t it?”
Joe nods, still staring at the screen like a man possessed. “I don’t understand it, but this is what Booker needs,” he whispers, scrubbing at his tired eyes with his fingertips. “This is what he needs and he keeps ending up in the hospital because he doesn’t have anyone who will do it the way he deserves.” There’s a sharp edge of determination in his husband’s voice that Nicky can’t ignore and Joe’s eyes burn a little with passion when he finally looks at Nicky. “We need to do something.”
Nicky lets out a heavy breath and slips a hand over the older man’s thigh. “Do you think it has to be us?”
“I don’t know. Maybe.”
After picking Booker up from the emergency room for the third time in four months, Joe and Nicky stage an intervention of sorts. The ultimatum: the next time Booker needs whatever he needs, he has to come to Joe. Nicky knows that this is the only way it can be—the only way to move forward safely—but something in the back of his mind tells him that they're going to get a lot more than they signed up for.

Summary
“I think I just had a very good idea.”, Nicky says, head on Joe’s chest, back pressed against Booker’s front.
“What is it, love?”, Joe asks, voice full of sleep and comfort.
“I think both of you should be inside me at the same time!”
