Summary

"There was that look again, the one he’d made when he said he was tired of tea. Katara had thought of that moment often, to turn over and examine like a riddle in need of solving. A touch of sadness reached his eyes and it made her soften her approach. Truly looking at him, she saw beyond the usual scowl he refused to let rest. Katara saw the hollow of his cheeks from being refugees with not having enough to eat; that his hair was longer, curling at the ends and in need of a trim. In that moment, he truly looked like nothing more than a teenage boy."

Summary
He can imagine it. Jayce coming home with a goofy smile on his face, proudly proclaiming he’s met someone. He would need to leave the cottage of course. There would be no more sharing a bed or even living together if Viktor wanted Jayce to have a real semblance of normality. The cottage would be so empty without him. No one would hold him when he cries, but really that would be fine. He doesn’t deserve it anyways. He deserves to be forgotten here, and maybe he can begin to atone for his past, starting with helping Jayce become happy.

Feeling guilty about everything that occurred with the Hexcore, Viktor makes it his mission to help Jayce have a new, normal life, starting with helping him find a romantic partner. He didn't anticipate how painful that would be for him though.

The man was appraising him; for what, Viktor didn’t know.
“You have talent. I can grow it more than the good Doctor here.” He held out a hand to Viktor as he stood.

Silco expects to pick up an engineer when he takes a young child from Singed's care. Someone who will fix up his factories and build.
Instead he ends up with a son.
The consequences are beyond even Silco's imaginings.

Summary
Caught out after dark in Ba Sing Se, Katara is hunted by a group of thugs before being rescued by the Blue Spirit. Locked out of the Upper Ring for the night, it looks like she has nowhere to go until the Blue Spirit takes her home with him, where he unwittingly reveals his identity, and just maybe, Katara's destiny to never be satisfied outside of Prince Zuko's fiery embrace.
