Summary
“Are ye really not going to tell me, Elrond?”, Durin asked him, sounding hurt and amused at the same time.
“Tell you what?”
“How ye managed to end up soaked, cold and barely conscious on my door!”
Or: Elrond is on his way to Eregion when he gets caught by rain and wind. He is exausted, emotionally and physically but manages to get to Khazad-dûm where a suprised Durin finds his trembling, pale friend who is about to collapse. Durin helps Elrond to rest and tries to figure out why Elrond is so overworked that he got himself sick. During the night Elrond's sickness gets worse and Durin and Disa take care of him and reassure him, that he is allowed to take breaks and comfort their friend, when the stress becomes too much to bear.

Summary
When Cuddy forced Chase to attend a medical conference with House and Wilson that was a six-hour drive away, he was less than thrilled. But as if being stuck with those two in a car wouldn’t be bad enough already Chase suddenly starts feeling sick. And what seems to be a simple case of motion sickness at first turns out to be the worst stomach bug Chase ever had. But to his great surprise, House takes care of him and realizes along the way how much he would do for his favourite little duckling (aka son ;)). Wilson really just wanted a peaceful trip and had never imagined himself co-parenting a sick Chase with House.

“Oh Jim”, Bones whispered and pulled him closer. Spock ran a gentle hand over his spine and played with the hair on the back of his head a little. Jim felt himself relaxing.
“I’m sorry”, he said and wiped away his tears, “I ruined our dinner. I tried to push through it, but I guess my head had other plans”
“Jim, you did not ruin anything and neither the doctor nor I wish for you to pretend to be fine when you are not”, Spock stated firmly, “we care about you and would rather spend the evening taking care of you than having you suffer alone”
“What he means is, we love you, you idiot”, Bones said smacked Jim’s shoulder playfully, “so don’t you dare to hide any kind of pain from us again!”
Or: Jim has a horrible migraine and Spock and Bones lovingly take care of their poor boyfriend (established McSpirk)

Summary
Suddenly Leonard grabbed his hand again, this time just gently holding it in his own.
“Maybe next time when you get attacked by an unknown plant you come to me directly”, he whispered, “could save us both some trouble”
“I might consider it”, Spock replied still with his eyes closed. Although he couldn’t see it, Spock was sure that Leonard rolled his eyes. The doctor went to withdraw his hand but to his own surprise Spock held onto it.
Or: Spock gets hurt by an unknown plant and ignores it until it gets bad enough that he has no other choice but to visit sickbay. Now it’s up to Bones to take care of the stubborn Vulcan.

Summary
“It is indeed the only logical option”, Spock agreed and repositioned himself until Jim’s head was resting on his shoulder.
Logical indeed, Jim scoffed internally but he didn’t protest because Spock was warm and surprisingly comfy as a pillow. He allowed himself to relax a little, ignoring everything that was going on around him, only focusing on his own breathing.
A few minutes later, he heard the elevator open and the characteristic, hasty steps of his best friend interrupted his momentary peace.“I can’t leave you alone for five minutes, Jim”, Bones muttered before he kneeled in front of Jim, already pulling out his tricorder to scan his vitals.
Or: Jim is invited to a feast on an away mission and ends up with some kind of food poisoning. Spock and Bones take care of him.
Can be read as developing Spirk/McSpirk or platonic friendship :)

Summary
Galadriel and Halbrand are in Númenor. When she is thrown in jail for sedition against the Queen Regent, she and Halband find themselves alone and able to plan for the future. Galadriel is bent on continuing her quest to find Morgoth's Shadow, but Halbrand attempts to change her plans. He plants within her mind the idea that she should rest. Relax. Cease her journey. His words worm their way into her innermost being and what should have been the bridge to the next leg of her hunt for Sauron turns into an opportunity to help the Queen Regent with a problem of her own. As Galadriel works to avert a crisis heading for Numenor, she and Halbrand grow closer and closer, even to the point of falling in love.
But Galadriel doesn't know what lurks beneath the surface… That the very one she seeks is beneath her own passionate hands. That the destruction of Numenor resides in the intentions of the man she has come to love more than life itself.
*This is a canon-divergent fic, with things in Númenor happening differently than they do in The Rings of Power Season One.

Summary
Slow, unsteady steps brought him to the bedside and it was then that his knees gave out once more and Elrond, perhaps understanding, gently lowered him to the ground. Legolas had been changed out of his torn and bloodstained clothes and wore clean nightclothes. Someone, or likely a combined effort of people, had washed the prince’s face, hands, any exposed bit of skin so that it was no longer coated in mud and grim. Even the bandages that peeked out from under his baggy sleeve were pristine and white as if they had just been applied. With another low moan, he took his friend's hand in his, pressed it to his brow and began to cry.
