Ojiro swallows roughly as he looks around the hospital room, cataloguing his limbs and pain levels in his mind. He's tired- parched- and something is nagging at him. But he's not hurt.

Summary
To ascertain the fact that Ojiro hasn’t just magically forgotten how to open doors, Shinsou reaches out and attempts to twist the knob as well. It makes an odd rattling noise and Ojiro frowns, tilting his ear towards it.
“It sounds like something’s jammed,” he says.
Shinsou huffs, his arms falling slack. “Okay then. Can you break the door down?”
“Wh— Do you not want a bedroom door?!”
“Would you rather be stuck here forever?” Shinsou glances back, looking around the room. “I suppose there’s the balcony...”
“Please don’t jump off from the fifth floor. I don’t think I’m ready for that kind of heart attack.”

Summary
Hanta doesn’t notice Ojirou until the aftermath of the USJ.
It doesn’t matter how deeply Hanta believes flashy quirks aren’t everything: he still falls for the explosions, the green energy, Dark Shadow, and, of course, Todoroki’s absolutely insane quirk. It’s easy to forget about invisibility, anivoice, and tail.
At first, Hanta wonders how they got into the hero course. It’s easy to think that when electricity crackles in the air and a glittering laser illuminates the sky. After those, he doesn’t really think about Ojirou.
And then the attack at the USJ happens.

After the war, Hitoshi thinks he’s half-dead sometimes.
His therapist says this is a function of his traumatic childhood, of his traumatic education, traumatic job. Before eighteen, he’s already racked up enough trauma to kill him before his body’s perished.
He can’t really think when he died. Just…one day, he woke up, and he was half-dead. The physical part stayed. The mental part, well.
