January 17th, 2006, Hershey Pensualvina, Evanlyn Buckley gave birth to her child, Isabella Buckley. She had to undergo an emergency C-section and almost died giving birth to Isa. They both kept losing their heartbeats until only one was left. Evanlyn's.
When she woke up, her parents were there and told her that Isa didn't make it, and Jason left town. She lost her baby.
Jump to 2017, Evanlyn Buckley became Evan Buckley, he bounced around after leaving college before landing in LA to be a firefighter. He found his family, and he was Buck. Maybe this was a gift from God. He decided Dennis had done enough good and would let him get this small slice between Heaven and Earth before he joined the choir. If he prayed, really hard, maybe God would let him stay. Dennis squeezed his eyes closed to do just that. When he opened them again after his small prayer, Robby still sat in front of him. The hand on his chin had stayed.

Summary
In September 2005, Robby left PTMC to travel to New Orleans to assist in relief efforts after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. There he met a young Army doctor named Jack Abbot, who had deployed to Louisiana with the 14th Combat Support Hospital. Robby was immediately dazzled by his new acquaintance, but under the circumstances, the spark between them never caught flame. Twelve years later, after Jack is medically retired from the Army, they meet again, when a newly widowed Jack applies to be an Emergency Medicine Teaching Fellow at PTMC. This time, things turn out differently.
