Summary
Bruce, rattled by the near-reveal of his identity, contemplates his roles as the dark knight and would-be prince of Gotham. Burning the candle at both ends, Bruce struggles with reemergence into society as a public figure and how to mediate out his new purpose onto a Gotham that largely seems to be adverse to his efforts.
When a string of mysterious disappearances catches his attention, the Batman works with Lieutenant Gordon to put a stop to a nefarious figure seizing on the vulnerable state of the city. All the while, Bruce cannot seem to shake the effect that Selina Kyle has left on him in her absence.
