III leans forward in his seat, eyes flickering over the thick glass window and the vastness of space before him, and pokes at the blue glow of the holographic screen in front of him.
The readouts are acting weird. He reaches out to manipulate a section of data and watches as it twirls as it completes its calculation for a moment before settling on the same result. This part of the system oversees the environment on the ‘ship: the air quality inside, the level of moisture, how much the pressure of space desperately wants to squeeze them until they implode.
