Dick sighs and shakes his head, exasperated. “So who is he?” he asks. “Some newly orphaned kid, like I was?”
“His name is Jason Todd,” Bruce tells him.
Dizzying awe abruptly replaces Dick's irritability. A spark of hope lights up his chest. His voice is barely above a whisper as he asks, “Jason?”
