Summary
Wolfwood had been dragged along with Vash for long enough to know how it all went by now– Vash would get hurt, Wolfwood would be angry at him, balance was restored in a few days. And it all stemmed from Vash’s warped sense of self worth. Maybe, instead of telling him the same things over and over, Wolfwood could make him realise he was loved through actions.

“What? Afraid that I’ll do something naughty?” Wolfwood cut Vash off before he could even begin to reassure anyone. Just to emphasise his point even further, he leaned over and cast a hand over Vash’s shoulder too, slinking his arm onto him and leaning onto the other man.

Peter’s gotten used to Gotham by now. The thousand little sounds that build up to the cacophony of a city in controlled chaos. He’s frustrated by it, annoyed that he feels like he’s forcing his way through a world that doesn’t belong to him. Worse, the Soul Stone is starting to become more and more of an issue. As if it senses something coming.
Tony's last words had been 'the threat always comes back.' Thanos won't be thwarted forever, only delayed. Eventually, he's going to hunt down the stray Soul Stone that Peter holds.
