"Kacchan, you're visiting me in the hospital!” Izuku exclaimed.
"Yeah, nerd."
“I’m so glad!” he said. Katsuki nodded. He was about to hand Izuku the diploma but the green-haired boy was wearing an odd expression, sizing him up somehow, in a way that sent the butterflies stirring in Katsuki’s stomach. He’d never looked at Katsuki that way before. “You know...I’ve always loved you, Kacchan,” Izuku said, calmly like it wasn’t a complete bombshell.
“Hah?!” said Katsuki, eyes widening in surprise, his face heating up.
“I’m so happy you’re here. Honestly, I wish we were dating and that you'd visit me every day, and bring me flowers and kiss me even more than Recovery Girl does because I know for a fact that would make me feel better," said Izuku.

Summary
Katsuki Bakugou had a particular talent for identifying anyone he perceived as competition, and for reasons Izuku had never fully understood, Katsuki had decided within their first month of freshman year that Izuku qualified. They'd met at some dorm mixer, been introduced through mutual friends, and within ten minutes had been locked in an argument about something Izuku couldn't even remember now. What he did remember was the way Katsuki's eyes had narrowed, assessing and dismissive all at once, and the way he'd said,
"You're one of those people who thinks reading books makes you smart."
Izuku had responded, "You're one of those people who thinks being loud makes you right."
It had gone downhill from there.
Or, Izuku Midoriya gets stuck in a psychology project with his apparent sworn-enemy Katsuki Bakugou. Turns out his Psychology Major really doesn't help when applied in real life.
