“Aww,” she teased, tilting her head. “Can the great Ratnik not handle a bit of attention?” Her laughter rang softer now, lilting and musical. "You're so adorable."
She prodded the lantern’s side. The metal casing was smooth, and held a certain warmth to it. She wondered if the fae inside could feel her touch. She poked it again, this time watching closely. The light quivered and darted away, pulsing with indignation.
Oh, he definitely didn’t like being teased like this. But oh, how she enjoyed making him squirm and fluster. She had to keep going.
Grinning, she patted the top of the lantern. The flame shied away at first before leaning into it, like a bashful companion caught between desire and restraint. The contradiction was too endearing.
“I had no idea you could even blush in that form. Now that I do, I don't ever want to stop seeing it.”
Or, during her stay in Nasha Town, a tipsy Lumine receives an unexpected visitor.
