Summary
Esteemed university professor Anaxa has a secret that he hides away from his unsuspecting students — he’s a huge fan of world famous idol Phainon. Well, huge is rather an understatement. Anaxa owns every signed album, every photocard and poster, any piece of official merch in existence has graced his collection. Call it a childish obsession, but he prefers “admiring the arts”. Whenever students walk the halls gushing about Phainon’s newest album, he avidly nods to himself in approval.
Despite this, it only strikes him mildly surprised when he runs into a very familiar (and handsome) face while perusing old literature in an antique store. After all, Phainon, too, was still just another human. But why does it seem like the other is more flustered at seeing Anaxa than the other way around?

A body pillow with his visage on it.
“...you’re giving me a body pillow. With your face on it,” Mydei drawls, voice as deadpan as it was the first time they met.
Phainon gives Mydei a body pillow (from his official merch line, by the way!) as a gift. Mydei takes it... well?

Mydei opens his mouth to comfort his idol—
“I don’t know who you are.”
…Shit. Mydei forgot that he’s crap at comforting others.
Before he can dig himself a hole and die, Khaslana turns his eyes to Mydei’s face. “R-really?”
His voice is half-hopeful, half-skeptical as his eyes glance outside the window. Mydei inadvertently follows his gaze, to the huge billboard plastered with Phainon’s face hovering over the city. “Thus Burns the Dawn” Now Out! Phainon proclaims, flashing a wink and a finger heart.
Mydei expressionlessly marches over to the window and yanks the curtains closed.
In which Mydei finds himself in the strange situation of "trying to earn money as a housekeeper to support your idol, only to end up cleaning your idol's house, and to top it all off, your idol is secretly gloomy, depressed, and has the self-preservation skills of a walnut."

Summary
Phainon scoffs, lip pulled back in a snarl that is more endearing than it is intimidating. "Does playing with your food usually make it taste better?"
Mydei hums, pretending to actually consider Phainon's question. "That depends," he rumbles, voice pitched to a depth he usually reserves for his more stubborn quarry.
"On?" His voice is strained again. Forcing the word out before he swallows dryly, eyes searching—is he in danger, or is the alpha simply toying with him? It lends itself well to what he's asking, he supposes.
"Whether it will heighten the thrill of the chase."
It's just Phainon's luck that a lion wanders into his personal sanctuary, almost drowns, and then—for whatever reason—keeps coming back.
