Inspired by a convo with @ allhailthewatcher: Bruce I-don’t-need-to-speak-this-vague-grunt-expresses-all Wayne can communicate quite fluently with body language and nonverbal cues. The (Batfam) have whole conversations with their shoulders. Alfred occasionally laughs at a particularly well-timed eyebrow twitch and the others get so distressed and baffled. Well, I didn’t base this in the manor like suggested but did enjoy playing in the sandbox.

Beady, pale blue eyes stare back at him from the puddle. Small, round ears sit on top of his head and his face ends at a small, pointed snoot with a brown nose with tiny whiskers sticking out to the sides. Tim experimentally opens his mouth and inspects the sharp, needle-like teeth inside.
Tim hates magic. Only magic could leave him stranded in a random alley in Gotham as a Mink of all things.

Summary
Tim’s been watching Batman and Robin for a while, okay? He understands what crime is. But then Batman turns a guy over to the police for reasons Tim doesn’t understand at all. It’s not a crime to hit your kids so they know what they did wrong, right? So Tim asks Batman about it. And, well, to say it quickly goes sideways is an understatement, AKA, what will later be referred to as “that time Tim tried blackmailing Batman to not call Child Protective Services.”
