There wasn't much to do at night, Castiel learned quickly. Motels weren't all that entertaining, either. Without Dean or Sam awake to talk with him, Castiel had to resort to finding other things to do while he waited for them to wake up.
Standing by the road proved equally boring, the one time he'd tried it.
