Summary
After the winter war Ichigo is powerless and abandoned. During that time he pulls away from his family and moves into a small apartment on his own. As he is attempting to scrape together some semblance of a normal life, he stumbles upon a beautiful yet injured silver fox. Filled with an impulsive desire for companionship he decides to take the poor thing in and nurse it back to health.

Summary
"You use reiatsu to see your way around, don't you, Kurosaki-san?" is what makes Ichigo pause before he can trail after Rukia from this shop she's taken them to.
Something brushes against his senses that causes Zangetsu to snarl viciously in the back of Ichigo's mind. The reiatsu is a light press against his own, like fingers poking something curious and new.
Ichigo hums as he turns to where the source is from. Knows it to belong to the shopkeeper.
Urahara Kisuke.
"You noticed fast," Ichigo replies easily. No point in denying it.

Summary
The first thing Merlin ever saw upon entering Camelot was the beheading of a man in the town square, by order of the king.
The second thing he saw was a blond haired man being dragged off in a fury by the guards, dressed in red finery and trying to sink his teeth into an ungloved guards hand.
The third thing Merlin saw in Camelot, was an old and heartbroken woman swearing vengeance for her son, who escaped in a blast of wind.
As it turned out, each of those three things were equally important indicators of the life he was about to lead.

Summary
Seeing the hell fire in her eyes made him shiver, made him wonder what he missed, made him wonder about a lot of things. Because when Ichigo saw him, she didn’t flinch, didn’t yell, didn’t say anything really. But her eyes, they kept a loop in his head, screaming out where were you? And the carefully modulated Geta-Boshi didn’t sound anything like the I don’t want to see you again that Isshin said. It sounded out how could you? And Kisuke wondered how much of Isshin’s ultimatum was actually from Ichigo, wondered if any was from Ichigo at all. Because there was hellfire in her eyes, a helpless wrath to burn down the world that wronged her. And Kisuke contemplates how he could have gotten things so wrong.
Ichigo is dying, and no one seemed to notice her fading away.
