Summary
Five years.
That is what the scientists eventually call it when the data begins to align. The Chronospatial Displacement Event, or CDE, becomes the official term, a clinical name for something that feels anything but clinical. The leading theory, proposed by physicists studying anomalies in gravitational waves and temporal distortion, is that the explosion created a Localised Temporal-Spatial Projection Field, a rupture in the fabric of spacetime that forcibly displaced human consciousness along its own worldline.
In simpler terms, the entire human race is thrown five years forward. For a single night, every person on earth is made to witness the life waiting for them. Five years into the future.

Summary
There were several things that Lando knew for a fact. He knew that he loved playing volleyball, that he was a talented player and that he was going places – he would get into university with a scholarship in volleyball, even if he had to fight tooth and nail for it. These were all true, indisputable facts in Lando’s mind.
He also knew that he and Oscar Piastri were unspoken rivals, and that he hated the younger player with every fibre of his being.
Or – the Landoscar volleyball enemies to lovers AU that absolutely nobody asked for

Summary
Oscar’s well aware that he’s got that tight clench in his chest again. That selfish, greedy clench that he knows is a bad, bad idea. A way to get his feelings hurt all over because Lando’s going to leave him like he always does, and Oscar will have to act normal in the next interview as if he didn’t just see Lando like this, as if Lando hasn’t fucked him up irreparably for anyone else.
And God knows what the future holds for Oscar, but nothing’s ever going to compare to Lando. Nothing. No one will ever come close.
He knows this with absolute certainty.

Summary
“Cut it out, Lando,” Oscar hisses quietly, eyes hard as he shakes Lando’s hand off of him.
It’s a completely understandable reaction from him. If Lando was being used as a human fidget toy without his consent, he would feel the exact same way.
What isn’t understandable, however, is Lando’s own reaction over being scolded by Oscar. He can feel the embarrassed blush spreading on his skin from head to toe. There’s this weird tingling sensation that blooms from the back of his neck, coursing through his veins.
He doesn’t need a mirror to know what he must look like staring back at Oscar’s stern expression.
OR
Lando discovers he has a propensity for slipping into subspace when Oscar yells at him.
