Lux pulled out a big flashlight before she squeezed past the boards, hoping she wouldn't catch on any nail and get tetanus on the way.
“There she is!” Jinx cheered, motioning for Lux to turn around. As she started going through the backpack, the blonde slowly shifted the strong beam of light around their surroundings.

Summary
There's only three constants when it comes to Jinx:
1. She never leaves anything behind.
2. She never visits two nights in a row.
3. She never stays into the morning.Ekko was used to this. Fine with it. If it meant that at least some nights he could hold her, know she was fine, he could deal with it. Even if he wanted more. So much more.
But when Jinx starts breaking each rule, one by one, Ekko realizes that what they have is not enough. But he's too much of a coward to ask for more. And it's ruining his life.
