“Really?” Kenma leaned back into his chair and flickered his gaze back to the now sleeping baby they were fawning over, thinking distantly of all the ways his and Tetsu’s features could manifest on their own pup. “I’ll take you on—a friendly competition to see who’ll get pregnant first might be interesting,” he says, decidedly going back to picking at his slightly cold slice of apple pie.
“Alright—friendly competition it is, Kenma,” Keiji smiles, blue eyes burning into Kenma’s skull. After years of perfecting the art of maintaining an apathetic face, the two omegas gaze into each other’s blazing eyes with a passive aggressiveness only known to them, letting loose the tight grip on the reins to their competitive nature.

Summary
Megumi was especially frustrated when one of his female co-workers seemed to blatantly flirt with one of the chattier, pink haired firefighters. They were talking closely, the firefighter inspecting a ‘burn’ (which was only a small circle of pink around her wrist) while his co-worker winced in pain.
She wasn’t a great actress, for what it was worth, her lips curled up into a barely concealed smile while tan fingers caressed the poor excuse of a wound. It was a brazen attempt at flirting, direct and cliche in a way that left Megumi mournfully rolling his eyes. As though the entire microwave situation wasn’t bad enough, now he was forced to spend his after work hours witnessing a painfully awkward and one sided display of courting.
Even the soft sound of her laugh ground at his nerves like lemon applied to a fresh wound, acidic and burning, a sore thorn in his side. It was overdramatic, too enthusiastic and obnoxious, as if she were hanging on to each and every word that left the firefighter’s lips.
His teeth ground together almost painfully hard. He knew whatever the pink haired man was saying couldn’t be funny enough to warrant such incessant and obnoxious cackling.

Summary
Far in the northern mountains, an arctic fox hybrid, Neuvillette, chose a lonely life away from the noise of pushy alphas constantly trying to win him over. Weaklings, every one of them! How disappointing! He shall not settle for mediocrity.
Amidst the endless and fairly boring polar night however, one of his traps captures a trespasser – a terribly stubborn werewolf alpha named Wriothesley. Now that – that is the kind of strength he’s after! In a rut you say...? Oh, isn’t that convenient! Unfortunately, his positive first impression is not returned, and the wolf’s rude remarks convince Neuvillette he should teach him a lesson in the most cruel manner possible. And... he might just trigger his own heat in the process.
Alas, if he doesn’t want him when he’s nice... he will make him *beg* for it.
