So even though Buck was expecting it to happen any day now, saw it coming from a mile away if he was being completely honest, he was still taken aback when a few days before they were due to leave for their vacation, Eddie said over their early morning coffee, point blank, "I want you to fuck me."
He stared Buck down as if he’d just issued him a challenge and was daring him to refuse, standing strong despite his obvious embarrassment. As if there was ever even the slightest possibility of Buck refusing him anything.

Buck pulls away, just an inch or two, breathing heavily into Eddie’s open mouth. “What’s—what’s gotten into you, baby?”
Eddie ducks his head, suddenly shy again, and Buck burns with admiration at how soft and delicate he can be, how coy.
“Eddie. Eddie,” Buck says, quiet, so soft. “Hey. Can you look at me?”
With a sigh, Eddie looks up at him, nodding instead of answering.
“You—you want something from me. Right?”
