Summary

After what happened in Paris, Armand, Louis, and Claudia move across the ocean to live in America once more. With everything that happened, and Claudia’s mental state worsening by the year, Louis decides to end things with Armand. That is when Armand meets Daniel, a young reporter who was meant to be nothing more than prey.

It's San Francisco, the summer of 1973. Young gay men are going missing in their dozens, and journalist Daniel Molloy wants to know why.
Of course, he doesn’t expect to stumble across the perpetrator when he just wants to get a fix. He also (quite reasonably) doesn't expect the killer to be a vampire.
Fifty years and an entire career later, he’s invited to Dubai. It’s a bad idea. Provoking Louis is a bad idea. Flirting with Armand is a bad idea.
No one has ever accused him of being risk averse.

He’s seen how Armand eyes the lacy little numbers that adorn the shop window mannequins they pass. They clearly capture his interest.
He just hopes the same is true when Daniel is the one wearing them.Armand looks down at him. At his flustered, pretty face, at his slightly parted lips. He wants to put the tip of his thumb in Daniel’s mouth, so he does, Daniel immediately opening up wider to allow the digit to slide over his tongue.
So good, Armand thinks, his eyes darkening as he watches Daniel hollow his cheeks and suck. So perfect, and so very mine.Armand gives Daniel a necklace with his blood in it.
