“That’s wrong,” Nadia complains, and yanks her brother down to her level to whisper the correction in his ear.
“Ooh,” Silvio amends. “Tía Veronica said you have a pale ass. My Abuela said you’re gonna die.”

Wow. Recommended by a friend, I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did, but I'm glad I took their word to heart and read this. I didn't expect for the themes of class and regret that I'd wanted from S2 to come out in this fic, but it was the cherry on top to a beautiful dynamics found in Jayvik. It's like if the song Parachute was a wonderfully written, long, and balanced fic. You don't see work like this often, and I'm glad I was able to read this.
