Summary
Asagiri gen era originalmente lector de la novela el villano que destruyo las tinieblas, de la que leyó los 6000 capítulos antes de empezar a detestarla. Tras leerla y morir, accidentalmente activa una orden y se encuentra transmigrando al mundo de la novela, en el cuerpo del villano original, Genos Houston W. Snyder.
Al despertar, es recibido por el Sistema, y pronto se da cuenta de que, para evitar que su personaje muera torturado por el protagonista, Asagiri gen, debe encontrar la manera de cambiar la historia. Sin embargo, el Sistema no le permite actuar de forma demasiado fuera de lo común, lo que resulta en que Gen Asagiri se adhiera cuidadosamente al personaje mientras intenta congraciarse con el protagonista para lograr un final "feliz" para "ambos".
