That enough of them would try to traverse the border, that enough would be crushed by trash, that enough would starve…that they would be snuffed out before we were."
Unforeseen circumstances put Rudo in an impossible situation, he’s on the run, lost the ability to use 3R, now he’s responsible for the movement of the Sphere. In the middle of these crossroads, he’s forced to decide on what to do next.
An AU based on a theory I have. Instead of Rudo being a “trash beast,” Sphereites are a different race. Instead of being able to give anima to objects, Sphereites receive anima from living creatures. Everything else is original.
AKA: the fic which predicted that characters can change forms after receiving thoughts.

It made him squeal and squirm, thrash. Tamsy would hold him down with enough force to bruise his hips…when alone, Rudo would marvel at the sight, feeling weak in the knees for something he thought to be an imprint of Zanka's need for him, but all this time, every single time, it was never actually him. Zanka never wanted him, he never liked him, and the disgusted looks the true Zanka would give whenever Rudo thought they were connecting on a deeper level were proof of it.

The burning petals brought Rudo closer to him as he rested his head against his chest. The quiet performance lulled him to serenity, as if he were wading through still waters. The priest brought his other hand to the small of his back, drawing circles around his tailbone. The touch was almost paternalistic, until his hands reached dangerously low when the last flower was turning into ashes. He couldn't resist slipping his fingers past where the toga still pooled around his waist.

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

In the longer stretches on the ground between settlements and towns there were a few safe spaces for travelers to refuel and kick their feet up for a few hours. They were spaced out periodically, all with varying quality and wildly varying services. But this one, the “King’s Inn” was the best one.
…Or so Enjin said.
Or, Team Akuta stays at an inn overnight in the North Ward.

Phainon and Khaslana are two wicks sharing the same the candle. Untendable. The alternative is worse. Mydei's Deliverer would rather die than letting the other version of himself — suffered, angry, grieving and so, so exhausted — fade away without fighting. There is a depth of devotion Mydei wishes he could look at and wonder how it came to be.
Instead, he looks up at the true sky above Amphoreus and understands.
