She knows not to trust anyone; to keep to herself and to curse the Gods for abandoning her. She knows anger and the hunger for revenge that keeps her going every day. She knows how to survive, but not how to live.
She doesn't know how to accept kindness when it's finally being given to her; when, suddenly, she’s given clean clothes, the Archon Residue is sealed within her, and she’s taken to a village in her homeland, where a bed and shelter await her. It’s all overwhelming and terrifying in its unfamiliarity.
Luckily, Collei is not alone.

Being a newbie unit at a school with so many successful idols isn't easy, which is something Ra*bits has had to learn the hard way. It's been rough, yet they've managed to get through it, clinging to each other as they take one step at the time, always growing bigger and stronger.
But Tomoya doesn't know how he'll get through this. He doesn't know how to deal with a problem that comes from within their tightknit unit. He doesn't know what to do as he watches Mitsuru storm out of the room, looking like he might not come back.

Hasetsu had been much the same, the magic built brick by brick into the walls of houses, sewn stitch by stitch into every cloak and boot—and while Yuuri had loved it from the first, that had not stopped him from wondering what more there might be, out in the wide world. What place there might be for him that was not simply the place where he’d been born. Phichit’s days, too, sounded like they were governed by an ordinary enough routine, prosaic and familiar, and yet his dark eyes were sparkling when they caught Yuuri’s sidelong, as if to say they were on the verge of a great adventure, and Yuuri simply did not know it yet.
