    “I...What is that?” Dabi asked.
Hawks flared his feathers. “That is our son!”
Dabi eyed the large oblong white object cradled in Hawks’ arms. An egg, he realized. Hawks laid an egg.

    Bookmarker's Notes

    !! SPOILERS !!

WWCU - It is not the most technically well written story I've read (although the grammatical use of hyphens gets much better as time goes on), but a lot of the writing is eloquent regardless. It's witty, emotional, and... thoughtful? Cacid writes very good monologues, which is evident in the first 5 paragraphs of the story.

Butterfly - Even better than the first book! Grammatically, almost perfect, aside from a few typos and a few missed words leading to confusing sentences. Very angsty, but also had a good amount of humor and breaks between major angst scenes (at least before the raid happened, but there was still appropriate additions of wit here and there). Also, I fucking love past Villain!Jeanist, and seeing him go feral on Overhaul was lovely.

Closed System - I put this one off because I was scared of the description, but I honestly don't think I should've been. The angst is so perfectly balanced that I end up with the perfect amount of fear and excitement, which is matched perfectly with the reprieve of humor and the fluffiest comfort you could imagine. I love Jeanist in every way, from his villain backstory to his entire relationship with Katsuki. The two of them are absolutely wonderful. Izuku learns to forgive himself and I /love/ that for him!!!

This was a wonderful series, through and through. Amazing writing, specifically when it comes to offplaying angst to the most perfect degree. Eloquent, humorous, and just plain enjoyable. Incredible work, Cacid.
