Pull it into a ponytail first, twist one end, fold it over the other, rinse and repeat until you’ve reached the end––which Tifa never wanted to happen. She couldn’t help but lean into the touch of Aerith weaving through her hair, careful and considerate, gently working through any tangles with her fingers. It made her feel tended to in a way that she didn’t like asking for, a way she didn’t know she needed, until Aerith figured it out before her, because that’s who Aerith is.
