Husk knows why Angel used to flirt with him. He's not stupid. Still, Husk finds himself irrationally attracted to him. When things for them change, he isn't prepared for the newfound closeness and safety he finds in Angel. Not to mention, Angel is really helping him through sleepless nights.
There’s a new level of safety Angel feels around Husk, but it’s always been there subconsciously. Now that they’ve built a real camaraderie, Angel feels deeply ashamed for how much he still wants his newfound friend.
To make matters worse, they start sharing a bed to get over their night terrors.How will these lovesick fools manage now?

Hazbin Hotel S1 ending spoilers!
It's pitch black outside, and late too. Husk stays to tend the bar into the late hours just to see Angel Dust and take care of him. He just can't imagine that Angel wants to care for him too -- and it gets to be too much for him to handle.
An angsty one-shot based literally on that one throwaway line about Husk not wanting to get into heaven. (I was heartbroken).

While he’s talking, stumbling over his words, Husk finds his legs moving of their own accord, getting closer and closer. Angel grows silent, confused, watching him with questioning eyes — Husk looks back with a silent query of his own.
