Summary
Tenzou was obviously curious about the letter and who Sakura was to Kakashi. His captain had never shown as much emotion before than when Yugao was teasing him about love letters.
“Sakura’s not my girlfriend.”
Tenzou followed him as he walked towards the front of the building. “Then, who is she?”
Kakashi’s mouth opened to say friend or even best friend, but he closed it. That didn’t feel right. It didn’t feel like enough. Sakura felt like more than that, but he didn’t know the right word. They weren’t together like that; he didn’t have any kind of claim on her, hadn’t promised her anything. But she felt like his something.
“She’s my person.”

Hinata glanced up as she stepped towards him with a chuckle. “I don’t think I have a monopoly over the moon, Sasuke.”
He hummed in response and held his hand out to her as he leaned off the wall. “Still a nice night out.”

Sakura pouted, not wanting the conversation to end. She didn’t know if she would get this again, this closeness to him. Now that she’d had it, she knew she would always crave it.

Junho glanced up from the arrest form he was filling out on his computer and studied him. Seong Gihun, age forty-three, resident of Ssangmun-dong. The system showed his only living relative to be his elderly mother. There were numerous citations on file for money issues mostly, but no prostitution. Oh, and today was his birthday.
“Officer,” the man said, wringing his hands like an old woman and rocking in his seat, “I swear.”

“Isn’t this what you wanted?” Gi-hun stammered, his voice trembling, eyes wide with a mix of disbelief and desperation. “You won. You broke me.”
The Front Man’s gaze softened for a fleeting moment, his voice unexpectedly gentle. He barely stopped himself from reaching out to Gi-hun, as if to reassure him.
“But I don’t want you broken, Gi-hun.” The words seemed to surprise even him, and he quickly masked the softness with his usual cold composure, silently thanking the stoic black mask he wore to conceal any trace of vulnerability.A brief silence stretched between them, the air thick with unspoken words. Both men stood still, eyes locked, each one waiting for the other to make the next move.
Gi-hun’s chest tightened, a surge of anger rising in him as he spat,
“What do you want, then?”
