“I look ridiculous,” Shane hisses, hands flexing at his side as Ilya turns to look at him.
Ilya feels a little like he’s been slapped as he lays eyes on his husband. He is extremely aware of just how attractive his husband is, but every now and again it hits him anew and he’s struck dumb by it.
The white silk shirt clings to every strong muscle and lean sinew that his husband works so hard for, the deep v of the open lapels showcasing his smooth chest. His waist - already a very well loved feature by Ilya - is accentuated by the wrapped cumberbund atop the well tailored trousers.
His hair, longer than usual, is artfully tousled and looks painfully soft.
Fuck.

"Was this fun you planned for us to have at your cottage, Hollander?" he huffs. Shane doesn't even look up from his laptop. He has a fucking legal pad out and he's taking notes. "You brought me all the way out here to ignore me."
Without looking away from the screen, Shane replies, "You can survive a few hours without me entertaining you."
"I will not," Ilya grumbles. "I will die, and then charity won't even happen because I will be dead. You will wish you had not read these documents, Hollander, after I am gone."
