Peter blinked, eyeing the sweat that beaded down the mans naked chest. He noticed the flush that spread across the scarred skin, the other super’s heartbeat erratic and loud to his sensitive ears. “Are you okay?” He asked, taking a deep breath to center himself. He froze when the scent of strawberry’s filled the air between them, sweet and cloying. He gasped, sucking in more of the scent, tasting Wades own musk underneath. “Fuck..” He cursed, swaying forward without meaning to and taking a step closer. “What is that smell? It smells like strawberries.” He asked, gaze flicking under the man’s arm and noting the rumpled bedsheets.
Wade blinked, suddenly blushing. “Its n-nothing.” He pulled the door as close to himself as possible, hiding what was behind the door. “Give me a moment and we can chill.” He turned, about to close the door when Peter suddenly slammed it open. “What the fuck?!”
“My god….it’s lube, isn’t it?” Peter breathed; eyes caught on the bottle that was sitting proudly on the nightstand. "Wade...."

Bruce looks down at Damian’s face. He’s…fine. He’s fine. There isn’t even a scratch on him. Bruce looks up at the others tearing at each other’s bandages. They’re all fine.
“So, what, it was just some twisted joke?”
The realization hits Bruce so hard he has to brace himself on the cave wall. The pieces are finally fitting together. He didn’t hurt any of them. Joker had a frankly concerning amount of time alone with each and every one of them and he… he didn’t hurt a single one. Bruce looks over at Dick.
“Get everyone back into the cave.”
“Where are you going?”
“I think I know how to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”
