Summary
Regulus black escaped. He is never going to see his shitty parents again, he is truly free. But Regulus black is also lost, and his only hope is his long-lost brother and his stupid hockey-player friend James Potter. When he starts at Hogwarts, he thinks he is safe, that his frozen over exterior will save him the trouble of having to deal with his own feelings. It's a good plan, and it works quite well until that certain hockey-player friend forces all those layers of ice to melt away into nothing. He is fucked. Well and truly fucked.
NOTE: this has been practically discontinued, theres a small chance i may come back to it so leaving it up ( and bc im still proud of it lol )

Summary
James Potter, concerned about his best friend—Sirius Black—not responding to his letters, writes to Regulus Black in a moment of desperation. Since Sirius’s escape from his family, James cannot stop wondering if Regulus is alright now that he is alone. James tries to talk to Regulus when they return to Hogwarts, hoping to become friends with him.
He knows he should not approach Regulus. He knows Regulus is his best friend’s younger brother. He knows Sirius would be furious. But he also knows that the curiosity of the forbidden and the allure of secrets make him feel alive.
Once actions are taken, they cannot be undone.

The story is just James and a bit of Regulus POV. The story is mainly focused on them, so I go straight to the point, obviously I try to make it natural and organic.
Note: The story is a bit based in All The Young Dudes by MsKingBean89. Like the first part of the letters, and some context of the story. But everything else is all my work.
