You're so lost in your own thoughts that you outright jump when the mans voice cuts through the static of the pouring rain. His voice is low and gravelly, but there's something there that's warm and familiar. And you know for a fact only one troll has ever called you by that nickname. As the realization sinks in, your heart jumps to your throat a second time, and you swallow hard, nearly dropping the man as your brain comes to a screeching halt.

Rich, a TV star exhausted with his current position, finds his usual droning routine interrupted when he has a chance run in with his childhood friend, Lophii. Emphasis on the run in part. Lophii's changed a lot since their youth, and it's been sweeps since the two have even spoken, but maybe this encounter is the start of a rekindling friendship, or something more.

Summary
While on a mission, Iruka is hit with a jutsu and is turned into a dog. Despite the intention being that this would make him easier to kill, it only means that he escapes. When returned to Konoha, an injured Kakashi- on a forced break- finds him, and takes him in. Despite Iruka being the dog, the person who gets taken care of is honestly up to debate.

Kakashi realized when he had finally gotten down the stairs that he was in boxers and a terrycloth robe, and that was it, save his dog slippers he’d meant to keep as inside shoes only. He stood there for a moment in utter defeat. His hair, he knew, was sticking up all over, greasy and thick, and his paper mask was wet from his breathing and crying. He looked very much how he felt: badly.
At least his leg wasn’t broken. It was a sprained ankle that hurt very badly, and he was limping, but it wasn’t broken. His arm, however, his favorite arm… that was broken. Kakashi leaned against the wall, his free hand nearly dropping his bag full of trash. It was recyclables and everything mixed together, because he hadn’t had the energy to sort konbini food containers and wrappers from anything else.
